Richard B. Simmons

Richard was born and educated in England. He served 17 years as an officer in the British Armed Forces, resided and worked in the Sultanate of Oman for 25 years, and worked in Dubai / U.A.E. for 18 years. Richard has broadly based experience, including creating and managing business projects and operations throughout the Middle East, Africa, Australia and China. He has vast experience with business and industrial projects, including shipping, civil construction, engineering, Oil & Gas services (both upstream and downstream), hospitality and entertainment, farming & agriculture, fisheries, manufacturing, real estate and mining. Mr. Simmons has provided private security advice and physical services for governments, multi-national companies, NGOs and VIPs in Oman, Yemen, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Jordan, Libya and Uganda.

Peter Rees

Peter Rees is a corporate development and finance executive with over 18 years of experience in the capital markets and the mining industry. Mr. Rees is currently Vice President of Corporate Development of the Madison Group, a private capital group with significant operating investments in Technology, Media, Industrial Engineering, and Commercial Real Estate. Peter manages capital raises, mergers and acquisitions and strategic partnerships across a portfolio of businesses, including Northern Miner Media group, which forms part of Madison’s investment in Glacier Media Inc. Prior to joining the Madison Group, Peter spent 15 years in the mining industry where he was Chief Financial Officer for a number US and Canadian publicly listed mining companies and a principal shareholder of the UMS Mining Group. During his tenure, the UMS Mining Group raised over $500 million in equity to fund the development of several successful mining companies, including Asanko Gold Inc. (now Galiano Gold Inc), Cayden Resources Inc. (sold to Agnico Eagle in 2014 for $200 million) and Auryn Resources Inc. (now Fury Gold Mines Inc,). Beyond operating as CFO, Peter led the group’s financial, regulatory and legal, M&A and public equity offering functions. Peter Rees is a certified professional accountant, an alumnus of Deloitte and holds a bachelor of Mechanical engineering from McGill University.

Andrew Daniels

Andrew is a registered and accomplished Professional Geologist with over 38 years’ experience in international mining, junior exploration, mining capital markets and large-scale project structuring. He has extensive international experience with industry leading mining houses WMC, Anglo American, and Kilborn SNC-Lavalin. He has extensive base metals and gold experience in a variety of deposit types and geological terrains; in particular nickel sulphides, nickel laterites, Cu-Au VMS, sediment hosted and mesothermal lode gold and carbonate hosted lead – zinc and IOCG’s. Andrew is a leading nickel laterite specialist. He has specialized computer skills in the field of economic resource estimation, geological block modelling, project evaluation and mine modeling. 

Hampton Dowling

Mr. Dowling served as a career naval officer before retiring in the rank of Commander. Past roles included Special Assistant to the US Vice President; and Senior Program Manager at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency leading classified tier one analytic, R&D and technology applied programs, the results of which had direct, Executive Branch bearing on Service-level policies, appropriations, and new relations with developing nations and NGOs. In the private sector, Mr. Dowling led double-digit profitability managing $90M+ P&L lines of business, achieved 80%-win rate of $5B for new company-wide business, and provided strategic advisory services to the public sector to increase revenues and stabilize governance. In C-Suite roles and program manager, he’s led Fortune 250 $100M+ commercial programs and 25+ projects worldwide to include establishing PPPs, JVs. 

James A. Turner

Geologist, Advisor

James Turner’s geology career has spanned more than 42 years commencing in 1974 when he worked with Cominco and Newmont Gold before forming his consultancy; TerraSatGeomatics Inc. in 1990. TerraSatGeomatics Inc. has worked with several juniors involved in greenstone belts around the world. Terrasatwas involved in the interpretation of remote sensing data. From 2004-2006, James gained valuable first-hand knowledge in Central America, providingvaluations and NI 43-101 reports for the several small 100-150 tonneprojects. In addition to assisting Newlox, James advises on a gold project in South Africa, copper deposits in Namibia and British Columbia, tailings deposits in Nova Scotia, Oregon and Peru.

Tarrnie M. Williams

Tarrnie is a highly experienced executive who has served on the board of several successful public and private companies over his 60-year business career. Tarrnie’s involvement in the development and commercialization of both mining and technology companies, including founding Canada’s first public software company and experience as CEO of Electronic Arts Canada, will be instrumental in launching Titan. Tarrnie holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics (U of Alberta) and has been a director of several public, private, and not-for-profit organizations, including having served as Chairman, President and Audit Chair of several public companies over his long and varied career. Presently, Tarrnie holds the position of Executive Chairman of Kidoz Inc. (TSXV: KIDZ); an AdTech software developer and owner of the KIDOZ Safe Contextual Ad Network reaching over 340 million children monthly through a curated online experience. Tarrnie’s position at Kidoz is a continuation of his illustrious career in the technology sector.
